 Derby Preview by Rupe

this is story 257 of 603 in this topic to date
In addition to the absence of Seaman, it seems that Ray Parlour and Dennis Bergkamp will also miss tomorrow's trip to Derby.

Parlour hurt his thigh in Athens on Wednesday, and Dennis has an ankle problem sustained in training this week.

Keown and Upson are expected to play in defence again, with Adams and Campbell still out. Upson's performance was just about the only positive thing to come out of the Panathinaikos game, and we're assuming (hoping) that he'll get the nod again, even if Grimandi is fit. That's no criticism of Gilles, but we know what Gilles can do already, and suspect that Matty can progress beyond it.

Please note that the engineering works which had been expected to close St Pancras for the day tomorrow have been cancelled, so the station is open as normal after all.

See preview page for more.

Derby have injuries to keeper Mart Poom, as well as Branco Strupar, Horacio Carbonari, and Stefano Eranio. Skipper Craig Burley missed their game last weekend with a hamstring problem, and has been out of action with a virus this week. So Darryl Powell will continue to deputise.
