Arsenal's problem could be at the back. With Adams out long-term, both Upson and Campbell getting hamstring problenms on Tuesday was not ideal.
Upson is out for a few weeks, and Campbell is 50-50 for
the Charlton match. So Wenger may have to choose between Grimandi,
Luzhny, and Stepanovs as a partner for Keown.
At least Cole looks back, having completed 90 minutes on
Tuesday. He didn't look too sharp though, and there are
hints in the press that Eriksson could rest him from the
England squad for the Sweden friendly next weekend.
Lauren and Vieira missed the Schalke game through injury,
but are expected back. Ahem.
Along with Adams, Jeffers Dixon and Seaman are all out for a while.
Charlton's John Salako has just gone on loan to
Reading as he recovers from a knee op. They;ve got a few
possible injuries, including Rufus, Pringle, Stuart (late
fitness test), and Kishishev.
