No new injury concerns for the Gunners. Adams,
Dixon, Seaman, and Wright are all out.
But Sylvain
Wiltord has recovered fully from his thigh injury,
and he and Keown are the most likely changes to
the starting line-up. Not that anyone deserves to
be dropped. The least effective performare against Juventus
was probably Kanu. But Bergkamp's brilliance coming no for the Nigerian surely warrant a starting berth for the Dutchman,
rather than Wiltord, if Kanu gets dropped.
Vill have a few good players missing: Kachloul, Hadji, Alpay, and probably Schmeichel (whose nose faces a late redness test).
Merson started their midweek game in a withdrawn striker
role behind Dublin, with Vassell on the bench and Angel
nowhere to be seen.
See preview page
for more including Villa links and stats, and international TV info. The match is on Sky Sports, and hence shown
around the globe. It's just been announce that our trip
to Villa Park has been move fromn Saturday March 16th to the following day, for similar televisual treatment. |
