Ray Parlour came off at half-time in the win over Chelsea
on Boxing Day, with a dead leg. According to this Arsenal.com page, he
is hoping to be back for the Boro game (Ray is also quoted as saying he still definitely sees his future as being at Arsenal). But some news agencies are saying he won't be playing tomorrow
(now confirmed by Arsenal.com preview).
Ray will be missing the next 2 games, at Leicester on Tuesday
and the cup tie at Watford on Saturday, because of his sending off against Newcastle.
Craig Bellamy, who was also sent off in that game, has had his
suspension removed by the FA after looking at the video of his
"clash" with Ashley Cole.
Arsenal right-back Lauren will be missing tomorrow through suspension (too many yellows) and Oleg Luzhny is expecte to fill in. Lee Dixon is close to a return, but not quite ready as yet.
Boro's Croatian striker Alen Boksic is out with flu and replaced
in the squad by Slovakian Szilian Nemeth. It's not the good news it might be, Boksic having been off form of late.
Arseweb is now getting up to speed again after our holiday. The usual lists of match reports on other sites are now available for the festive wins over Liverpool and Chelsea.
The Arseweb kit shop is also open again, although the xmas rush has left us short of many lines until new stock comes in.
