Arsenal are expected to be unchanged for tomorrow's trip to the Valley. Wenger has said that Vieira will not be rested (although don't be surprised if he's the first to come off if Arsenal take the lead, what with a massive European game against Dortmund coming up 3 days later. Parlour Lauren and Ljungberg are not
thought to be ready to return to action. Aliadiere will be missing from the bench due to a groin problem which some reports suggest he had been hiding from the club (silly boy).
Jeffers could be taking his place as a sub.
Reports suggest that Charlton have Scott Parker and Gary Rowett missing. England U21 midfielder Parker
got injured in pre-season, and had been hoping to prove his fitness in time for tomorrow. Rowett was signed from Leicester in the summer but damaged a hamstring last week so Fortune will probably continue alongside Rufus in defence.
Club captain Graham Stuart has a long-term injury and Mark Fish is out too, and Alan Curbishley has been firther hit by the
news that Luke Young could miss the game with an ankle injury picked up in the loss to Villa in midweek. Paul Konchesky is suspended.
The Addicks signed Jesper Blomqvist and Robbie Mustoe on deadline day, and both could make their debut against the Gunners.
Arsenal need just one goal to set yet another record, of scoring in 45 consecutive top-flight matches. We'd need to go a couple more games to set a new overall record (ie including lower divisions).
