Title run-in and London League spreadsheets by Rupe

Following up on the St Totteringham's Day spreadsheet calculator, we now have the title run-in version available to download.

Once again provided by Aidan O'Byrne, the excel spreadsheet enables you to enter win lose or draw for the remaining fixtures for Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea, and Newcastle, to predict who'll come out on top at the end of the season. It doesn't bother with goal difference by the way, but Arsenal have a huge lead on their rivals in that respect so we're assuming it's not a significant concern (but we will try to update it after each match to keep it as accurate as possible). You'll have to tell it to allow macros when excel opens the file, in order to make the "reset" button work.

You can download the title run-in spreadsheet here.

Our thanks to Aidan, and to Andy Howey who has supplied us with a "London League" spreadsheet which can be downloaded here. It puts together a league table from the results of all the matches between London clubs, and allows you to enter results for those that haven't been played yet. Arsenal have actually won this competition already. But if you play around with it a bit, you can see that Tottenham still have it in their power to finish last.

Thanks also to the other people that have provided run-in spreadsheets. We have decided only to make Aidan's available at this time because it is the most user-friendly, and because it includes more than just Arsenal and Man Utd. Personally I think it's a bit early to discount Newcastle and Chelsea, and we don't want to go tempting fate!

Rupe adds...
I have also made a Spreadsheets page, in anticipation of more of this kind of thing in the future, and so there's a place for you to go for updates. There is a link to it under the "Misc" tab on the home page.
