Despite Arsenal only
leading the table by their superior goal difference, Patrick
Vieira said that that the Gunners are still in pole position to retain their
Premiership trophy.
The Arsenal captain said that "Arsenal thrive on these sort
of games," referring to the upcoming title decider against Man Utd at Highbury
on the 16th of April. "It is hard to do it once but once you have done it you
know how to do it. And we still know how to do it," referring I hope, to winning
the league.
He also says that he is happy to commit
the rest of his career to Arsenal (so sign that contract already!), and
that he would be willig to stop his international career in order to further
his club career.
"If you try to carry on too long you can cut your career short,"
he said. "So I think that with so many games being played I will stop my international
career early. Then I will play just for my club - after all they pay my wages."
