Following Peter Hill-Wood's saying last week that Arsenal will
never sell Thierry Henry, Arsene Wenger seems to be saying now that they'll never drop him either! "Unless the medical team tell me otherwise Henry will always be in the team".
Henry is said to be 90% fit for tomorrow's match with Fulham, but even at 90% he'd be a contender for best player in the world.
He had slight injuries to back and hamstring after his exertions in Milan on Tuesday, but is expected to shrug them off and start.
Wiltord is still out injured but Bergkamp is available again and likely to regain his place alognside Thierry, despite Kanu's excellent showing in Milan.
Keown is fit again but suspended. Vieira is not suspended but not fit. Lauren is both suspended and injured, so it looks like Cygan in the middle and Toure at right-back again (having said that, one of these days Wenger will surprise us and give Hoyte a go).
Parlour is also injured, but Gilberto is fit again so we expect to see him in the middle along with Edu. Parlour's absence makes Bergkamp's presence (and capataincy) all the more likely.
Fulham's number 1 striker Louis Saha has also been a bit dodgy this week. He was unable to train in midweek because of cramp but is though to be fine for the Arsenal trip. Steed Malbranque is also thought to be over a slight knock. But Mark Pembridge is out with a calf injury and
Alain Goma has been back in training having been out for a knee op, and could be in contention to start at Highbury.
On the Arsenal old-boys front, Luis Boa Morte is suspended following a red card against Liverpool, but Junichi Inamoto is likely to feature and Moritz Volz (not, strictly speaking, an old boy yet) should start.
Arsenal are looking to extend their record-breaking 13 game unbeaten Premiership start. But let's not take Fulham for granted, or forget that they beat Man Utd at Old Trafford not so long ago (including an excellent performance from Volz and a fantastic finish from Inamoto).
Fulham boss Chris Coleman says they won't be scared. But they'll be trying to end an unenviable sequence. In their 16 league matches at Highbury so far, they have picked up a total of one point.
