Arsenal have Gael Clichy (leg), Mathieu Flamini (hamstring) and Philippe Senderos (knee) all
out of Highbury's last ever game, against Wigan this afternoon. The absence of the 2 left-backs gives Ashley Cole a great chance
to play himself into the Champs League final, and that of Big Phil
gives Sol Campbell a similar chance.
Jose Reyes, Robert Pires, and Cesc Fabregas are all likely
to return to the starting line-up after all 3 came off the bench
to good effect in the second half of the Man City game.
The big question for most Arsenal fans will be: does Dennis Bergkamp play.
Wenger's not usually sentimental in his team selection, but Dennis has to
feature at some point, surely?
Wigan have Arjan de Zeeuw, John Filan and Ryan Taylor injured, while
Gary Teale is suspended. They've also just sold Jimmy Bullard to
Fulham. |
