| Arsenal and JVC part their ways |

Arsenal and main sponsor JVC have decided to end their
eighteen-year sponsorship deal. It has been the longest
running deal of its kind in English football.
This means that there will be brand new kits both home and
away next season. It's also fair to assume that a new shirt
deal with another sponsor will make even more money than the
GBP 20 million Arsenal have earned from JVC since 1980.
