| Platt gets Samp job (?) |

TeamTalk is reporting that Platt has definitely landed the
Sampdoria managers job and that this will be confirmed
later today.
Because he doesn't even have the qualifications necessary to
coach a Serie A side's youth team, they will appoint someone
else as coach and make Platt a "technical director" type thing,
althohg his role is expected to be much like that of an English
manager. This is unusual in Italy but there is a precedent in
Roy Hodgson.
