Arsenal's vice-chairman David Dein, who is responsible for the transfer dealings, will get the last laugh if Nicolas Anelka treats Real Madrid like he treated his old club. In a clause so sensational it's hard to believe, reported by Sporting Life, Arsenal will get an extra £12m if Anelka leaves the Spanish club within three years! Dein and Arsenal would then get a total of £35,5m for Anelka, who has signed a seven-year contract in Madrid. |
