It looks like Nicolas Anelka might not make it
to Lee Dixon's testimonial on Monday. Apparently
he got injured in training when he tried to shoot and found his feet nailed to the ground (that's what it says on
this
news page on the unofficial Real site RMadrid.com anyway).
We suspect the work of an Arsenal fan! Either that or Nic was
really desperate both to get out of the Highbury match
and to evade blame for Real's continuing terrible run of form.
As compensation, Arsenal have confirmed that one Ian Wright will be appearing.

the day before. The latest we've heard is that despite what
everyone thinks, Gooners' favourite Tim Sherwood may not be suspended after all. According to the FA he's only received
