3 Gunners (they were 5 last season) are amongst the 50 footballers who play in an European club nominated for the 1999 France Football magazine "Ballon d' Or" Award : Dennis Bergkamp, Nwankwo Kanu and Emmanuel Petit. 51 European journos are to vote and the final standings will be given by the end of the year.
1998 top three were Zidane with 244 pts, Suker (68) and Ronaldo (66) when Dennis finished 8th (28pts), Manu 12th (16pts), MO 23rd with 3 points. TA6 and DS1 got a clean sheet.
