Take a very large pinch of salt with this one. We can't find any corroboration for this story reported by Teamtalk, and remember it's the Christmas Party season, but...
Nicolas Anelka wants to come back to Highbury.
They quote an unnamed colleague at Real Madrid, as saying: 'Anelka is very troubled and his career is going nowhere here. He told me he should never have left Arsenal and would go back given the chance.'
And apparently he's blaming his (ahem) over-keen brothers Didier and Claude for putting their cut of the money before his career.
If Real are really keen to ditch him quickly, they might have trouble - who would want to sign a £23m failure? It wouldn't be like Arsene Wenger to sign a Madrid outcast, would it?? |
