Two years ago today, Manchester bookmaker Fred Done was (done). He paid out all bets on Manchester United winning the league, because they were 11 points ahead of Arsenal and he couldn't see us beating them.

One record 11 match winning run later, we'd pipped United for the title in a spectacular 4 goal win over Everton at Highbury, which turned out to be the first stage of the double.

So, some of you have asked, does he have the bottle to do it again?

He already has! (see Sporting Life). Unfortunately, 2 years it ago it was 11 points, and we had 2 games in hand. This time it's 10 points but we've played the same number of games.

Oh well, we wouldn't want it to be that easy again, would we?
