An Arsenal fan has been relieved of the need to serve his civic duty in a court of law. The trial of a Spurs fan accused of punching a female Leicester fan at the 1999 Worthington Cup final, began today (Tuesday) at Harrow Crown Court.
Before the trial began, the judge asked if any of the jurors were supporters of either Tottenham or Leicester City, or held any strong views on either side. As a result, one Spurs fan and one Gooner were discharged! |
