It did seem strange that burglars had broken into his house for the car keys and taken nothing else. Well, the story in the Sun is rather more detailed. Turns out that Kanu's house was turned over rather more thoroughly, the car just being taken as a getaway vehicle. And it all happened a month ago while Arsenal were off in Amsetrdam for the Ajax centenary tournament. He's since had a top-of-the-range security system fitted. They took lots of expensive electronic stuff, cash, clothes, and so on, but most distressing perhaps were the football items, including his UEFA Cup winner's medal.
