Corinthian, manufacturer of 2-inch tall plastic caricatures of contemporary footballers, mustn't be best pleased at Freddie Ljungberg's decision to shave off his slightly-red hair. (At least, we assume he shaved it off - although all that red dye couldn't have done it much good.)

Fred's likeness is set to hit the shops late next month - complete with long hair. Our anonymous collectible correspondent says it's not yet clear if the model will come with a small piece of sandpaper, to give your mini-Fred the necessary trim.

Anyone seeking a nice Christmas present for a Gooner might want to look out for a four-pack of Silvinho, Pires, Ljungberg and Seaman. We have yet to establish the tonsorial detail of the Seaman statuette.
