Whizz-Kidz fund-raiser, Friday 29th September 6pm, Shillibeers
Any Arsenal fans with time and a little money to spare on Friday night should get themselves along to this event, which is being organised by a group of Arsenal fans to raise money for the Whizz-Kidz charity.
They're also taking part in the New York marathon on Nov 5th to raise money for Whizz-Kidz. So it's
hats off to Tony, Danny, and Des for all their efforts. Please try to get along on Friday to help them raise funds for this excellent cause.
Whizz-Kidz is the movement for non-mobile children, who raise money to buy wheelchairs and so on for disabled youngsters. See their website for more info.
The auction starts at around 6pm, with items being sold off every 15 minutes till about 9.30. Then there will be a raffle and disco till 2am.
Among the items to be auctioned/raffled are:
- Autographed Ian Wright England shirt.
- Club shirts signed by the first teams of: Arsenal,
West Ham, Charlton
- Goalies gloves and photo signed by David Seaman.
- Football signed by Barnet first team.
- Tickets to a Watford game.
- Crate of Champagne.
- Photo signed by Ryan Giggs
They're also going to be selling a specially-made 48 track CD,
featuring some classic Arsenal songs, commentary clips, crowd chants, and more.
