Arsenal have given the go-ahead for the £6m training ground to be developed at Bell Lane, Colney.
They awarded the contract to engineering and construction company Henry Boot.
According to the Yorkshire Post, the deadline for completion is October 1999.
It will include gyms, hydrotherapy pool, special dining area, and special pitches (two) comprised of a grass/polypropylene mix - for durability and good drainage.
Henry Boot are also building the Hospitality Suite at Lords - re-establishing - albeit indirectly - the MCC/Arsenal link. |
