Thierry Henry's been doing the traditional 'French player moaning about the English game' thing, in the pages of 'France Football'... but this time, with a twist!
'It was a real battlefield,' he said (quoted and translated by PA). 'I had to learn how to control myself and stop complaining... because here, if you don't accept direct contact, you spend your time whining to the referee.' (Or the media, don't forget the media)
And which particular Arsenal player cured his problem? None other than England Captain Martin Keown. 'He's the one who would kick me the most during training,' said TH. 'I even thought at some point that he had something against me.'
Cruel to be kind, Thierry. Cruel to be kind.
