| ArseWeb and the Prem League copyright claim |

You may have read in the papers, heard on the radio, or seen on
other web sites that the FAPL are in the process of writing to all independent websites, demanding that they remove the
Premier League "fixture list". (see eg Football365).
They claim that the ArseWeb calendar infringes this copyright.
The calendar now carries an explanation of our current position. We'd be grateful if anyone with knowledge of internet copyright law would have a look and get in touch if they have anything they can tell us.
In the meantime, we await the FAPL's next action.
Incidentally, I'd be grateful if you would click on this button to register a vote for ArseWeb in a Football365 competition. We don't like Football365 because they refuse to link to other football sites (even though they pester them for
content), so it'd be nice to win this comp so they'd
be forced to link to us and we could really slag 'em off!
