Viewers of Sky Sports' Soccer AM will have seen the world premiere of the new Nike advert - starring our own Thierry Henry and Maurice Green, whom Arseweb understands is an athlete of some ilk.

For those who haven't seen the strategically leaked pictures, the ad is based on the MTV series Celebrity Deathmatch. For those who haven't seen it - think Morph crossed with the WWF. (For our younger readers, Morph was Wallace & Gromit's grand-dad.)

Frankly, the whole thing is a bit disappointing. Henry and Green are made to fight a man who's a bit angry, due to the loss of a winning lottery ticket. They run quite fast around him, creating a whirlwind which tears off his flesh. And, erm, that's it.

It should make for some nice T-shirts, anyway... and speaking of which, if anyone from Nike's PR dept is reading - Arseweb wouldn't mind a couple.
