| Dennis: I'm sick of travel-sick soap opera |

Dennis Bergkamp has had a pop at the media for blowing up (oops, sorry) his fear of flying into a 'soap opera'. Writing on his official website, he says:
'It's being suggested that the reason I've not travelled to France is that I'm afraid of trains. This is just ridiculous and I can't believe that this is being suggested.'
He insists that he could have easily made the 6.5 hour journey to Lyon, but it was Wenger's decision to leave him behind. In fact, he notes (with a hint of bitterness?) - 'I heard late as usual - I was told on Sunday and that was a little bit disappointing for I'd prepared everything for the trip.'
