We reported earlier in the week that Arsene Wenger was very much a legs-crossed kind of guy. Along similar lines...
David Seaman's problem, apparently, is that he doesn't keep his legs closed. That's the verdict of former Coventry City goalkeeper and TV presenter David Icke, writing in Football365.
"When the ball is struck, the goalkeeper's feet are too wide apart. It's that simple," he says, "but the consequences are enormous."
At least Seaman's not the only one - he also attacks Schwarzer, Weaver, Wright, Martyn and pretty much every top-level keeper in the game. 'There has to be far more investment in goalkeeping coaches for youngsters,' Icke concludes.
David Icke also concludes that a global conspiracy of shape-shifting reptilian aliens controls the world. But maybe it's still worth keeping the ol' Mystic Megs together Dave, eh?
