OK, so just because renowned Arsenal fan Nick Hornby gives an interview to the Independent, it shouldn't merit a Newsreel article. But hey, it's the Dead Zone guys - and it's this or more pointless transfer speculation.
He reveals his favourite-ever Highbury moment to be Tony Adams's goal against Everton, in the game which clinched the league title in 1998. He denies responsibility for the 'middle class colonisation' of the game (blaming instead Hillsborough and Rupert Murdoch), and chooses Steve Bould ahead of Martin Keown in a Best Ever Gunners XI.
The new season is only a couple of months away. |
