The referee who accused Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger of attacking him last season, has been thrown out of the Premier League list because his marks were too poor. He is the only
Premiership referee from last season not be on the list for the coming season. Paul Taylor was the fourth official at last season's opening game between Sunderland and Arsenal when Le Boss broke up a fracas between Thierry Henry and Darren Williams in the tunnel. Wenger was found guilty of touching Taylor, said to be a Tottenham supporter, and fined by the Football Association, though he escaped a 12-match ban after an appeal. More at the Telegraph and Soccernet.
