... and it's only mid-July... Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger is quoted in the Mirror, and not only about Patrick Vieira. Wenger makes sure to put the pressure firmly on Manchester United for another season. In an interview to be broadcast on eplsoccer.com, Wenger says it will be a "disaster" for Alex Ferguson to not win anything after spending almost 50 million pounds on his last squad. "At the moment Manchester United are in a position where if they do not win the League it's a disaster," Wenger says. "If they do not get to the European Cup Final it will be a disaster again. So it makes it very tough for whoever takes over from Sir Alex." On other matters, he says Arsenal lost the league away last summer, and that he thinks a team of foreigners never can win the Premier League.
