An irritated-sounding Arsene told PA today that new contract or no, he was categorically guaranteeing he would be manager at Highbury next year, having given his word (etc. etc., see previous chapters in this saga). He also claimed an announcement from the club was imminent.
Non-story? Smokescreen? Arseweb tends to believe the former, though Wenger's definition of "soon" is approaching the Clintonian. More.
