No joy - and, surely, no surprise - for our man Lauren: he's not among the three shortlisted for the African Player of the Year award.
The lucky contenders are: Bayern Munich's Samuel Kuffour... and two also-rans. We're sure Cameroon's Samuel Eto'o and Senegal's El Hadji Diouf would admit to being underdogs. |
