A 19 year old man has been arrested in connection with the throwing of a coin from the Highbury stands at Liverpool player Jamie Carragher. Scotland Yard confirmed at the weekend that the suspect was arrested in or near to Highbury during the 4-1 win over Fulham. A coin was thrown at Carragher during the FA Cup 1-0 win over Liverpool on January 27, and Carragher was sent off for throwing the coin back into the crowd. The Liverpool defender received a formal warning from the police but was not charged, neither by the authorities nor, amazingly, by the FA.
