Here is a story one french footie fan wrote to France Football : The lad intended to watch The Arse V. Pool in the Cup last month. As he couldn' t afford a ticket from the touts who were asking £80 he tried his luck with the French Gunners. After he unsuccessfully called for Sylvain and Paddy as soon as they got out of the coach, he managed to tell Bobby "I arrive from Marseilles and have no tix. Do something for me" Amazed, RP7 asked for the lad' s name and said "OK, I' ll see... Go to the Box Office..." Fifteen minutes later, bingo! an AFC hostess got out and gave him one envelope with written on it 'To XX/Left by Robert Pires' which contained the precious ticket. |
