This is an important message for anyone travelling by train from Waterloo to Southampton on Saturday for the game. Due to engineering works the line will be closed between Winchester and Southampton. There is only one direct train (the Weymouth one) between London Waterloo and Southampton per hour and this is being re-directed via Guildford, Havant and Fareham. It departs London Waterloo at 10-45, 11-45 and 12-45 arriving at Southampton 12-35, 13-35 and 14-35 respectively. Other trains are going from London Waterloo to Winchester where a bus service will take you onto Southampton.
Coming back is the same - a bus service from Southampton to Winchester for a connecting train to Waterloo or a direct service at 17-15, 18-15 and 19-15 back to Waterloo (via Fareham, Havant and Guildford) arriving at 19-20, 20-20 and 21-20 respectively.
