Sorry for the late report, but... an Arsenal XI beat St. Albans City 3-1 in a friendly last Wednesday. Moritz Volz scored two goals and John Halls the third. The most senior player in the Arsenal squad was Igors Stepanovs who played the first half. Eager American Gooners will like to know that both Frankie Simek and Danny Karbassiyoon played.
