Have I missed something? Man Utd players Ronaldo and Giggs pleaded not guilty instead of admitting their offences, then were found guilty of the same charges as the Arsenal players but only fined and warned instead of getting bans, and they're still moaning that they've been hard done by!
And you can add to that the fact that Gary Neville and Quinton Forune got away without even being charged for the more serious misdemeanours caught on (but not highlighted by) Sky TV.
Clearly, Arsenal were the biggest offenders. I can't help feeling that this fact is actually reflected in the comparison of a total of £275,000 fines plus 9 bans, versus a total of £11,500 and no bans. Or do Man Utd want the FA to set a precedent that retaliation is completely acceptable?
