Away shirt unlikely to sell in Italy by Simon
on 23/4/99 at 15:54
this is story 93 of 532 in this topic to date

Sources in Rome have confirmed to Arseweb that the word 'Sega' does have rather a rude meaning in Italian. This is likely to mean that sales of the new away shirt are likely to be disappointing in Italy.

The word 'sega' itself means a saw. As in the tool. (Oops!) Unfortunately, it is also used in slang in the context 'farsi una sega' which means 'to have a w*nk' (and I don't mean a wink).

Frankly, with Seaman at the back, this is all we need.
