Arsenal could line up for the biggest game of the season so far
with a near full-strength side. Or it could be a nightmare.
Silvinho and Seaman are out, and we expect
to see Ashley Cole at left back following the lack of success of putting Luzhny there in the second half against Southampton
on Saturday.
Ray Parlour is suspended, so Ljungberg will
probably start, unless Wenger decides to start Bergkamp
on the right, as he did to good effect against Lazio.
But more likely we'll have Bergkamp alongside Henry
up front.
The nightmare scenario would be if the 4 doubtful players can't start. Adams, Vieira, Grimandi, and
Bergkamp are all uncertain with minor problems
picked up on Saturday. We're trying to stay optimistic...
Bayern will be without both striker Carsten Jancker
and full-back Bixente Lizarazu. Like Arsenal, Bayern
have been having a bad run recently, largely thanks to keeper
Oliver Kahn.
Incidentally, I'd be grateful if you would click on this button to register a vote for ArseWeb in a Football365 competition. We hate Football365 because they refuse to link to other football sites, so it'd be nice to win this comp so they'd
be forced to link to us and we could really slag 'em off!
