Arsenal and Nigeria forward Kanu has a tasking flight schedule ahead of him the next two days. After playing a World Cup qualifier against Ghana on Sunday, he's been told to appear in Munich on Tuesday to prepare for the UEFA Champions League game against Bayern. To achieve this, Kanu must fly from the venue to Accra, form there to Lagos, from Lagos to London, and finally from London to Munich. Any delays could wreck his hopes of playing the most important Arsenal match so far this season. "I accept the record of West African players coming back from internationals is not good because planes are not always on time," manager Arsène Wenger says. The manager will decide on Monday whether to send Dennis Bergkamp by car to Bavaria. More details on Kanu's schedule in the Daily Star. More on the preparations at the Electronic Telegraph website. |
