Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger thinks a European super league is inevitable.

Europe's top clubs prepare to fight UEFA's decision to reduce the Champions League to a single group stage, with the second stage replaced by an extra round of knock-out matches.

"Ninety per cent of clubs are against it and I think there'll be a big confrontation," Wenger says. More in the Guardian.
