Freddie Ljungberg is back in the Arsenal squad for tomorrow night's Champions League opener against Borussia Dortmund. Ljungberg had targeted Saturday's game against Bolton for his comeback, but is slightly ahead of schedule.
Lauren, who missed Saturday's game against Charlton is the other significant addition to the squad. Ray Parlour is still out.
Dortmund's preparations have been hit by the withdrawal of Tomas Rosicky from their squad through injury. The Czech star is an inspirational figure for the German champions and will be remembered by many Arsenal fans for the superb consolation goal he scored for Sparta Prague during a 4-2 win for the Gunners back in 2000.
Dortmund have started the new season slowly drawing four of their five opening games in the Bundesliga, but like Arsenal they are considered to be awayday specialists and will not be daunted by the prospect of a trip to the capital.
