Sol Campbell has a "slight achilles problem" and faces a late fitness test ahead of tonight's huge Champions League game
against Roma at Highbury. Martin Keown is in a similar situation with a calf injury. It looks possible that we'll be fielding a
partnership of Pascal Cygan and Igors Stepanovs. Best of luck to them if that does happen, but perhaps we'll end up wishing that
Le Boss had rested more first-teamers against Chelsea on Saturday.
A slight doubt also remains over Thierry Henry, who was due to have a training session today to see how his calf reacts to the injury which saw him substituted on Saturday.
But Dennis Bergkamp is fit, and Wiltord and Jeffers available
to fill in if Thierry can't make it. Of course, any team in the world would miss Thierry, but the cover is at least stronger than at
centreback.
Long term absentees Cole and Shaaban are of course out.
Roma's form has picked up a bit since we thrashed them at their place in the autumn. Totti is back up to strength and has scored 11 goals in 16 games. He played against Lazio at the weekend
despite suffering from flu.
