PARIS, Nov 26 (Reuters) - Lens said on Thursday they would
send video tapes of their 1-0 Champions' League victory
over Arsenal to UEFA in an attempt to prove striker Tony Vairelles should not have been sent off in the last minute.
Vairelles, known in France as a model of fair play, was
shown a red card for apparently elbowing defender Lee Dixon
seconds after Arsenal's midfielder Ray Parlour was sent off.
Lens officials said the tapes showed Dixon had faked
injury.
