Make or break? Arsenal vs Chelsea preview by Rupe

Arsenal have been boosted by the news that Ljungberg and Reyes are likely to be available tonight despite concerns over injuries picked up on Sunday. Freddie hurt his hand but could play with some sort of cast and/or injection, and Reyes hurt an ankle and a knee. Both players trained on Monday.

Parlour and Wiltord are both still out injured, and Cygan has joined them with an ankle problem. Ashley Cole is also expected to miss the game with the injury picked up in the first leg, but he could be back very soon.

Gilberto is also expected to mis out. Before last week's internationals, Wenger said that the Brasilian's long trip back from the game against Paraguay would probably rule him out of tonight's match as well as the FA Cup one.

Desailly's sending off in the first leg means he misses this game, with Gallas likely to move back to partner Terry in the centre of defence, and Melchiot coming in at fullback.

Cudicini and Veron are both injured.

Note that the only way this game can go to extra time is if the score is 1-1 after 90 minutes. Away goals count at that stage in Europe (unlike in the League Cup, for example, where they count only after extra time). If the game does go to extra time it will be using the "silver goal" rule, whereby the second half of extra time is only played if the scores are still level. Also, away goals stop mattering once extra time has started.
