Despite reports earlier today that Alessandro Del Piero had recovered sufficiently from his thigh injury to be at least on the substitutes bench tomorrow night, Juve coach Fabio Capello has now confirmed that this is not in fact the case.
The Italian star was able to train today, but wasn't comfortable enough to risk throwing him straight into such a clash.
Czech midfielder Pavel Nedved, arguably Juve's best player, does however return from suspension. He's likely to take the place of newly (doubly) suspended Mauro Camoranesi, who got himself banned for multiple bookings in the tournament in the first leg, before getting himself sent off, which presumably earns a 2 match ban in total (?). Patrick Vieira and French defender Jonathan Zebina are also banned.
See earlier article for rather better squad news from the Arsenal camp (Freddie Ljungberg, Cesc Fabregas, and Emmanuel Eboue could all be fit). We'll have a more detailed match preview tomorrow.
