Arsenal Ladies currently need a maximum of 8 points out of five games to ensure the Ladies Premiership title remains at Highbury. However one of those five remaining games is away tonight at Doncaster Belles (7:30pm kickoff at Brodsworth Welfare which is north of Doncaster near Adwick Le Street). Doncaster Belles are the only team who could mathmatically catch Arsenal up.
So briefly:
A win for Arsenal tonight would mean they would now only need a maximum of 2 more points off of the 4 remaining games.
A draw for Arsenal tonight would mean they would now only need a maximum of 5 more points off of the 4 remaining games.
A loss for Arsenal tonight would mean they would still require a maximum of 8 more points but with only 4 more games remaining.
Previous games this season against Doncaster Belles have seen Arsenal win 5-2 in the Charity Shield and 4-1 in the home Premiership game but they did suffer a 2-1 loss away in the FA Cup.
