Boro fans will be breathing a sigh of relief
at the news that Alen Boksic is available having
recovered from a groin injury. Their attacking
options were limited enough thanks to the
absence of Carbone (cup-tied) Whelan (hamstring)
and Ince (suspended).
On top of that
Nemeth lacks fitness after injury, and it looks like
Jonathan Greening is going to be a late addition to
the injury list. Boksic will be partnered by Dean
Windass up front.
But be warned: they don't have the same problems in defence,
and defence has been their strength of late (see here).
Arsenal news is that Ashley Cole is out. Arsene Wenger has taken
the surely unnecessary trouble to state that Patrick Vieira will
play (even though a booking would see him miss either the
final, or the Man Utd game).
Wenger will most likely field
Seaman; Lauren Adams Campbell Luzhny
Wiltord Vieira Edu Ljungberg
Bergkamp Henry
But Keown or Dixon could come in, and Parlour's an
option too.
The match kicks off at 4 (live on Sky). If it's level after 90 minutes there will be extra time and penalties (in other words, there's no replay).
