The draw for the 5th round of the FA Cup has thrown up a couple of
particularly interesting ties. Not least of which is Arsenal at home to Chelsea.
Arsenal have put Chelsea out of the cup in each of the last 3 seasons: last year's quarter-final which went to
a replay, the final in 2002, and a 3-1 win in the 5th round in 2001. So since they last won the cup in 2000, Chelsea have only been eliminated by Arsenal!
One has to assume that this tie will be shown on telly. The details will presumably be announced later in the day. Arsenal are also due to play Chelsea in the league (at Stamford Bridge) the following Saturday.
If Tottenham get past a replay with Man City, they'll face a trip to Old Trafford. So that's probably another local derby match. Liverpool and Everton were both in the last 4 names out of the hat but we were denied a third big derby when they came out in different matches.
