Lyon are in full confidence at the moment and yesterday won convincingly Lens in the League Cup in what was their opponents' first home defeat of the season. Edmilson (25), Laigle (61) and Marlet (70) who was back from a slight injury were the scorers in a 3-1 away win and the final score could have been much more in favor of Les Gones but for Lens keeper Warmuz. Fuertes levelled the score 10 minutes after half-time.
