The Indomitable Lions had a shock 'golden goal' victory over tournament favourites Brazil in the Olympic quarter-finals on Saturday.
Reduced to nine men with two sendings-off in the final 15 minutes of normal time, Cameroon came within 60 seconds of finishing off the Brazilians inside the 90, thanks to a Mboma free kick on 17 minutes - but Ronaldinho blasted in a 20-yard free kick to level the scores at 1-1.
But with 7 minutes left in extra time, and a penalty shootout looming, Cameroon got one on the break - substitue Modeste Mbami catching the Brazilian keeper on his left-hand post from the edge of the penalty area.
Arsenal's Lauren played the full game, receiving a yellow card in the early stages of the second half.
And so to the semi-finals on Tuesday, when Cameroon play the Zamorano-led Chile, who spanked Nigeria 4:1 to end the Supereagles' hopes.
